Wood Green
High School
Staff 1968-69

Sadly this is the only picture of the full staff that I have, taken during the first year of the new Wood Green High School, but still showing many of the old WBHS staff.

The larger picture (109KB) attempts to identify them.

I am sure that we can all pick out teachers who have had a profound effect on our lives. We can probably recall key phrases from our mentors, even after 30+ years! A sobering thought for all those of us who are, or have been, teachers ourselves.

In a future update, I will tell you about those from WBHS who inspired me. Perhaps you would like to e-mail your similar experiences to share with the other visitors?
